Christ Church creates an ideal location for our welcome centre. Start your journey through our history with an introduction to Laxey Valley video hearing from Mine Captain Richard Rowe explaining the achievements of the Great Laxey Mine, the largest, deepest and most profitable zinc mine in the British Isles during the 1860’s.
